  The billing came through and Earney Dental Associates only billed for the amount of the quoted amalgam filling NOT the ceramic filling they installed. I am amazed there are still businesses in existence that operate this honorably. The miscommunication of the quote to the dentists and the positioning of the TV where it couldn't be seen during drilling and lack of headphones and volume control during drilling are why I rate the experience 4.5. If I am in the area I will go to this dentist again.

  I was a patient here from when I was very young until I moved out of town for college. I have always had good experiences here. The staff is very friendly and professional, definitely recommended.

  I would give the dental work a 4.5 star rating as they did very well along those lines. I obtained a "Detailed Treatment Plan Presentation" from the office for the replacement filling they sold me on. The itemized plan stated "D2150 Amalgam-two surfaces, permanent" and the office clerk even asked me if I wanted amalgam or ceramic (UV hardened white). Well, I assumed this order would be filled as quoted, but when we got to the filling part of the procedure I noticed what appeared to be a UV hardening lamp in use. When finished I asked if I got a white or amalgam filling and the tech said she used a UV hardening white filling at 50% higher cost than the amalgam. She asked if I wanted it replaced! Would ANYONE have a new filling drilled out and replaced???? I doubt it.
